Hi there! I'm Dianne. I wanted to say hello and tell you a few things about myself and my jewelry "hobby".
I just recently added a few new designs, all original and one of a kind.
And now my story, and I'm sticking to it!
Silver Horse Designs was born out of a 40 year passion for collecting Western and Native American jewelry (wow, how time flies!). I guess this explains why many of my jewelry designs have a uniquely Native American spirit while others have a classic western style. Each piece is custom made, one of a kind. I'm not an assembly, it's just me and my dog.

Working out of my tack room, my work includes original pieces as well as re-designed pawn. I work with top quality turquoise, coral, pearls & semi-precious stones and only the finest sterling silver. My sterling pendants are hand made originals created exclusively for me by a Nevada working cowboy.

I have been fortunate enough to have my designs featured in national magazines; Cowboys and Indians, Western Horseman, Country Weekly and The National Barrel Horse News to mention a few. My designs have been worn, most recently, by American Idol winner and country super star, Carrie Underwood in a photo shoot for Country Weekly.

Ever since I was old enough to walk, I connected with horses and the classic California ranch lifestyle. A dedicated animal lover, I always dreamed of a life surrounded by horses and dogs. I made that dream a reality while living on the Cojo Ranch in California,
riding local ranches with my daughters, then later by moving to the central coast after meeting my husband Dan almost 20 years ago. It's here that I firmly planted my roots in the horse country of Paso Robles where I've raised and ridden a few good horses. My passion for this lifestyle and Native American artistry inspired me to become a designer. You’ll often see me heading to town in my truck, always with my beloved dog Rowdy, hauling my horses or jewelry to events and trade shows and sharing a smile and a horse story with everyone I meet.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that my greatest pride in life will always be my family - my husband Dan, and three daughters, Angela, Alison and Aimee.

Miss Rodeo California wears Silver Horse Designs

Ashley Hoffman, Miss Rodeo California, stopped by yesterday to pick up her Silver Horse Designs for the Miss Rodeo America Contest and Coronation Ball, being held in Las Vegas during the National Finals Rodeo December 1st - 5th 2009. Assisting Ashley is Kerry Bowen, a well know artist who did a fantastic job hand painting Ashley's competition clothing, and Donna Riva, the seamstress who created Ashley's outfits for her personal appearances.
